What is it?

A good project management method will guide a project through a controlled and visible set of activities to achieve the desired results.

PRINCE2 is designed to be used on any type of project, big or small and in any environment. It contains a complete set of concepts and project management activities that are the minimum requirements for a properly run and managed project.

However the way in which PRINCE2 is applied to each project will vary considerably, and tailoring the method to suit the circumstances of any project is critical to its successful use.
